Available in 1/2", 3/4", and 1" standard sizes. Custom depths available. Typically made from recycled MDF material to prevent warping and accomodate a built in french cleat. The French Cleat is a popular and elegant way to hang your finished work. These cleats are usually made of MDF in depths of 1/2", 3/4", or 1". Custom cleats can be made for pieces requiring larger distances or specialty applications.

Hanging your artwork with the French cleat can be simple and easy. It is important to install the wall cleat firmly and securely to the wall by either screwing it in to a stud or using a plastic drywall anchor to screw into. Installing the wall cleat with a level is highly suggested.

With the wall cleat in place, gently guide your artwork to rest on the wall cleat by the corresponding top cleat. If your artwork doesn't properly hang straight, either re-install the wall cleat or shim the contact point between the cleats with small pieces of paper until your artwork floats perfectly on it's cleat.

Certain images and presentations benefit from the layering possibilties only available with stand-off barrels and caps. These lightweight but sturdy metal fittings create an industrial look that is visible from the face of the artwork. These allow for the artwork to float off a wall or another material to create an interesting, non-traditional presentation. This hardware is available in various sizes and colors.

Many presentations can be fitted with discreet wire hangers depending on the weight and size of the artwork. Typical for canvas strecher frames and small mounted prints. Easily substitute wire for or combine with a French Cleat to prepare for any type of situation you may find for your artwork.

Industrial strength hook-and-loop fasteners can be used to hang lightweight and temporary pieces. Gator and foam boards, and poly metal can be assuredly hung from solid walls by this type of fastener. Not recommended for any type of permenant installation.

Traditional frames can be used for several presentations. We suggest framing certain materials with and without glass depending on project requirements and aesthetic needs.

Security hardware is available for artwork that is intended for permenant public display. These three piece mechanisms work together to lock a piece in place and remain hidden from view.

D-Rings can be attached to backing frames or other devices to secure artwork without wire. These rings can be installed with correctly placed drywall screws.

Aluminum Stabilizer Bars

Strong and lightweight aluminum bars are used to stabilize artworks at large dimensions. These bars can also be used to reinforce large canvas strecher frames that may be suseptible to warping. In instances where weight is a concern, aluminum bars can be used to create the majority of the backing frame for floating pieces.
