Infinite Editions works will several different metals and materials. While most projects we encounter are quite unique, there are several standard presentations and styles we routinely offer. They include: flush mounting, spot mounting, laser and water jet cut frames, and magnetic and specialty metal options.

A contemporary look for any photograph, flush mounting is a clean and professional alternative to traditional framing. The flush mounting process adheres fine art prints to a number of rigid backing materials with an archival adhesive. These prints are typically sprayed with a water-based acylic varnish to protect from potential dirt, dust, or fingerprints. Edges are sealed with a hard, acrylic resin to prevent delamination and can also be painted to hide the paper edges.

Spot mounting offers a fantastic option for artists looking for a contemporary presentation style. Spray varnished, fine art prints are trimmed and mounted to allow the mounting substrate to be revealed around the image. The print is archivally adhered with our standard adhesive. This presentation is best suited for hand-sanded aluminum or copper that have been laminated for the ultimate protection.
This style can also be acheived in a similar way using acrylic or glass with face mounting.

Aluminum and copper can be cut by laser and water jet to create any shape or size frame to be fixed over a mounted print. This unique framing presentation gives your work an elegant, clean frame or can be customized to be ornate and complicated. Metal frames can be sanded and laminated or powder-coated in a number of styles and colors. These frames compliment certain photographs extremely well and create a distinct look. Another fantstic alternative to traditional glass-and-mat framing. Metal can be precisely cut to offer fine, vector smooth detail.
Cetrain projects that call for specialty materials are not out or our realm. We can work with magnetic materials for numerous possibilites. We have experience working with larger and smaller gauges of metal beyond our standard 1/16" thickness, including steel. Various finishes and patinas are also options to consider.
